CHIA FLOUR BREAD

  • 400g of wheat flour
  • 100g of Chia Flour SOW
  • 10g dry yeast
  • ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoon salt
  • 100ml of sunflower oil
  • 1 egg
  • Black Chia Seeds SOW (optional)

  1. Add the wheat flour with the Chia Flour SOW in a sifter and blend inside a bowl. Add the dry yeast, sugar, salt and mix all dry ingredients.
  2. Make a space in the center, add the sunflower oil and mix. Continue kneading while adding, little by little, ½ cup of warm water until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
  3. Once the dough is ready, soak it with a little oil (so no crust is produced), cover it with a cloth and let it drizzle in a warm environment for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. After this time re-kneading. Then place the dough in a mold previously buttered with oil or butter.
  5. Then, dab the dough with the egg beaten and, optionally, spread on it Black Chia Seeds SOW.
  6. While preheating the oven to 180°, let the dough rest for 10 to 15 minutes more. Once this time is over, bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
